1993, 1(3): 1-7.
Abstract(1005) PDF(915)
Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the national conditions and power as well as the status quo in agriculture the author pointed out in this paper that in 1990s the agricultural researches should be focused on those directions such as rationally exploitation and protection natural resources and environment, expanding food resources, improving food stucture for urban and rural residents, breeding new varieties for crop plantation, stock raising and aquaculture, comprehensive technologies for high-yield,high-quality and high-efficiency agriculture, animal husbandary and fishery and so on. Agriculture development in China should follow the ways of the intensive sustainable agricultural development in which agriculture structure is optimum, resources are saving, production is intensive, pollution is prevented, ecological balance is keeped, land productivity, output rate of resources, labur productivity and commodity rate are increased.

Abstract(1630) PDF(916)
Abstract:
It was pioted out in this paper that comprehensive agricultural development in Huanghuaihai Plain must follow the ways of eco-agriculture.It was suggested that the problems in agricultural development should be solved accoding to the local conditions. Then the contents, principles, optimum models, and engineering technicals for eco-agricultural development in this area were put forwards.
Rainwater Resource And Its Utilization in Eco-agriculture
LIU Chang-ming, MOU Hai-sheng
1993, 1(3): 20-26.
Abstract(1019) PDF(849)
Abstract:
Based on the recent progress in international rainwater studies and the theory of five-water interaction, the authors analysed a context of rainwater resource and its utilization.A case study from the North China was given to indicate the importance and function of rainwater in eco-agriculture.Rainwater can be used by direct and indirect ways. For ecological agriculture the direct user of rainfall is of great significance in building up a retention capacity of a soil layer where the crop root system are active. On basis of effectiveness of rainwater use, authors laid emphasis on a coupling system of rainwater catchment and soil reservoir. In addition to this, the authors also suggested controlling the rainwater through soil water regulation indexes. Finally,an example of rainwater regulation taken from Yucheng comprehensive experimental station was given in the present paper.
The Vertical Climatic Habitat Zones in Mountainous Regions in South-western Hubei Province
TAN Chuan-feng, ZHANG An-lu
1993, 1(3): 27-34.
Abstract(1290) PDF(854)
Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the changing patterns of the main climatic factors such as light, temperature and water with the altitude in mountainous regions in south--western Hubei province, and combining the specific biological properties of crops and forests, the biological productivity of crops and forests have been estimated,Then according to the results the most suitable habitat zones for different crops and forests are choiced.
Light Distribution in Crop-tree Intercropping Area and its Agricultural Value
LIU Nai-zhuang
1993, 1(3): 35-40.
Abstract(849) PDF(886)
Abstract:
In this paper based on the analysis of the daily temporal and spatial variations of the shady area and the shading intensity of a single tree in intercropping area, the features of the total relative sunlight distribution in crop-Paulownia intercropping field were studied. The shading effects and practical agricultural value of three structural patterns of tree-row were also discussed. It was found that Paulownia as intercropping tree has greater potential for agricultural production because of its small shady stress on crops.
The Effects of Crop Structure Adjustment on Agricultural Disaster Reduction Decision
GUO Jian-ping, GAO Su-hua, PAN Ya-ru
1993, 1(3): 41-47.
Abstract(1054) PDF(930)
Abstract:
The climatic suitable index for crops under different climatic years are analysed by using the unit production of five main crops in Xinmin county of Liaoning Province. Then the schemes of crop structure adjustment for different climatic years are put formard basedon linear programming. This provides the basis for reducing agricultural disasters and keeping high and steady agricultural production.Under the adjusted crop structure the total grain output and value would be increased 8.85 percent and 8.17 percent, respectively,in bumper years,in normal years the increase wouldbe 20.49 percent and 19.86 percent and in lean years the increase would be 20.15 percent and 19.30 percent. If the type of the year is not concerned, the average increase rate would be 8.86 percent and 7.79 percent, respectively.
A Reasearch on the pattern of Bco-breeding for Livestock
ZHANG Zhi-wu
1993, 1(3): 48-51.
Abstract(927) PDF(855)
Abstract:
In order to deal with the crisis of animal genetic resources diversification resulting from traditional breeding,a new concept of eco-breeding is proposed in this paper. Then a pattern of eco-breeding is established.Furtherly a mathematical model for systematic distributing the eco-breeding objectives to breeds under the eco-breeding pattern and the scheme for eco-breeding of chinese local pig breeds are presented.
A Comparative Analysis of the Soil Erosion and Water Runoff in Three Small Watersheds in Gaozhou Reservoir,Guangtong province
LI Hua-shou, LUO Shi-ming
1993, 1(3): 52-57.
Abstract(1008) PDF(827)
Abstract:
Through in vestigation and site researches, soil erosion and water runoff in three typical small watersheds in western Guangtong are studied. The results shows that in spite of the more steep slope soil erosion in Gecang watershed is not so serious as in Juntun and Liangtong watersheds. The analysis results shows that the types and quality of the vegetation play a key role on this. The intensive crop plantation,agro-forest sys-tems,and the natural bamboo forest system in Gecang watershed has enabled the farms in this area enjoying an improved environment and higher income.

In this paper the circulation of water and nutrient in the typical terra nera farmland in Hailun city,Heilongjiang Province is studied. The specific chemical and physical properties as well as the eco-system characteristics of the terra nera are descriped. In a further step the productivity of this kind of soil is estimated in order to rationally utilization the terr nera resource.
A study on the Ecological Effects of Joint Pollution of Cd,Pb,Cu,Zn in soil
LI Hui-ying, CHEN Su-ying, WANG Huo
1993, 1(3): 69-73.
Abstract(1040) PDF(940)
Abstract:
This paper reports the ecological effects of the joint pollution of Cd,Cu,Zn,Pb in soil on spring wheat and rice. The results show that when the joint concentration of Cd,Pb,Cu,Zn in the soil reaches a certain level, the growth of the crops will be inhibited and the yields reduced with the higher the concentration the lower the yields. The content of the four elements in the crops is also increased when the concentration of those four elements in soil increased. The results suggest that the joint pollution is different from single contamintor pollution, because of the complex action mechanism among the joint elements.
