1996, 4(1): 26-28.
Abstract(922) PDF(937)
Abstract:
Eco-ceonomic system in mountainous areas refers to that for integrated managing the hilly areas by dividing them into small scale valleys as basic unit, a rational comprehensive eco-economic system of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandary, sidelines and fishery with emphasis on forestry and fruit production is developed by suiting measures to local conditions. The concept, acceptance criterion, background and features of the eco-economic system and the importance of forming eco-economic system in integrated managing mountain districts from the results of a typical case study are presented.

Taihang, which can represent the general situations of the transitional zone of mountain and plain, some key technologies were presented to develop resource-saving eco-agriculture in the area, which include developing intensive ecological planting with priority at water-saving,economic forestry and fruit trees with priority at ecological protection,small-scale animal husbandary with priority at grain-saving,and processing industries for farm and sideling products. Then relevant measures were put forward.
A research on nullisomic backcross method for breeding alien substitution lines
Mu Sumei, Zhong Guanchang, Li ZhenSheng, Li Bin
1996, 4(1): 33-36.
Abstract(1274) PDF(913)
Abstract:
The embryoes of F1 hybrids between 4D nullisomic wheat, as female, and rye,as male, were cuhured after fertilizing 16 to 18 days, and the F1 plantlets were doubled under the treatment of 0.05% colchieine. The doubled plantlets were then backcrossed with nullisomics oneto two times.thus wheat-rye alien substitution lines could be obtained. There were about 18.5% of monosomic substitution plants and about 24.0% of double monosomic substitution in the B1F1.Aline substitution lines 4D/4R were produced by their selfing. Now some of the aline substitution lines have been applied directly to production.
A research on elimination of the bad smell pollution to ecoenvironment from poultry dung
Hu Shang-qin, Zhou Kai-xiao
1996, 4(1): 35-37.
Abstract(1109) PDF(902)
Abstract:
Based on the functions of microorganisms on removing bad smell from poultry dung, more than 85% of the bad smell from the poultry dung can be eliminated when the dung is fermented by special microorganisms plus certain supplemental materials. This method provides an effective way for using the dung as fertilizer by clearing up its bad smell.

Abstract(820) PDF(794)
Abstract:
Progresses of the research on the physiolgy of plant drought resistance in recent years were introduced in this paper, which include: osmotic adjustment, chang of biomembrane structrue, membrane lipid peroxidation, protein inducing ang physiological and ecological changes under water stress conditions. And ways of saving water and increasing drought resistance of the plants for high yield were discussed.
A study on the cultivation techniques for rice(Oryza sativa L.)grown in arsenictoxic paddy soils
Chen Tongbin, Liu Gengling
1996, 4(1): 42-44.
Abstract(916) PDF(929)
Abstract:
Field experiments were carried out to study the cultivation techniques for growing rice (Oryza sativa L.)in arsenic-toxic paddy soil in southern Hunan Province. The results showed that by application of ridge planting the rice yield could be increased. But rice grain yield was decreased when phosphate fertilizer or rice straw was applied to the arsenic-toxic soils.
The structure and functions of a compound agro-ecosystem for utilization of the uncultivated land in the suburb of Tianjin
Cheng Zhishan, Ma Cuiping, Liu Xianjue
1996, 4(1): 45-48.
Abstract(1469) PDF(896)
Abstract:
Uncultivated land is a waste of valuable agricultural resources, especially in the suburbs. In order to fully utilization of the waste land in Tianjin suburb,a compound agro-ecosystem was built based on eco-engineering at the test plot. The system is a feature of "fruit fish-domestic animal-domestic bird". The structure and functions of this system were analysed to provide ways for exploiting the abundant waste land in suburbs.

Abstract(1476) PDF(1006)
Abstract:
On the basis of analysing the natural eco-environment and causes of eco-economic poverty at Qiaopo Township, three major measures in biology, engineering and cultivation were adopted and four kind of eco-structure patterns were applied to this township.Favorable ecological, economic and social results had been achieved.

Sun Quande, Bai Youshan, Han Junjie
1996, 4(1): 65-67.
Abstract(1084) PDF(1025)
Abstract:
Experiments on rice varieties, density, seedling raising, fertilizer application and spraying were carried out. The results showed that sound seedling and thin planting coordinated with large heavy ear rice variety and V-fertilizing of Nfor groving rice after wheat harvested. Ideal type of plant, rational density of thin planting and favorable yield structure were necessary for high yield of the rice. The results also confirmed that yield of the rice could be increased by wet raising seedlings, combination of N,P,K and Zn fertilizers, application of Si,spraying bilineurine compound and minor elements.

1996, 4(1): 72-75.
Abstract(1017) PDF(936)
Abstract:
Experiments on salt tolerance of five herbage varieties were carried out at the experimental sites in the water-deficient salinized region of Heilonggang. The results showed that salttolerance of the five varieties at their early growgh period was at 0.3 to 0.4% of soil salt contents.and during their middle growth periods,salt-endurance Was increased to 0.5 to 0.7%.The five herbage varieties can grow very well in the salt-affeeted soils at the test sites. So it is suitable to grow those high salt-tolerant grasses in this region.
Dynamics of soil potassium and effects of fotassium fertilizer application in the rice growing areas of Hexi Passage
Xu Cuncai
1996, 4(1): 76-79.
Abstract(1116) PDF(889)
Abstract:
Six years' location investigations and tests on soil K dynamics in the rice growing areas of Zhangye City, which locates in the central part of Hexi passage, showed that soil Kcontents of different type of soil are all decreasing, the decreasing rate is in relation to soil type, amouns of N,P and Zn fertilizers applied.Based on long-period tests the optimum amount of K fertilizer application was got. This provided the base for rational application of potassium fertilier to rice.
