Abstract(1505) PDF(1120)
Abstract:
Sustainable development of land use is a key aspect of sustainable development of the socio-economic system.A correct evaluating index system for sustainable development of land use can help to carry out sustainable development strategies. The evaluating index system shoule include two aspects, the dynamic equilibrium and the sustainable use of agricultural sand. The change in space and time and in requirement of sustainability will all result in a change in the index system.

Effects of allelochemicals on nitrogen absorption of wheat seedling
Yuan Guanglin, Ma Ruixia, Liu Xiufen, Sun Sien
1998, 6(2): 37-39.
Abstract(1354) PDF(957)
Abstract:
Effects of three allelochenmicals such as ferulic acid(FA),benzoldehyde(BH)and 4-tert-bytylbanzoie acid(4-BA)on nitrogen absorption of wheat seedling are studied. The results show that N absorption from both N0-3 and NH+4 decrease with the increase of concentrationsof allelochemicals.Nitrogen absorption from N0-3 and NH+4 by fifteen-day-old seedlings, which are grown in three culture liquids such as FA,BH and 4-BA(0.5g/L),is 58% and 42%,50%and 19% ,53% and 33% of that in the controls respectively. Therefore, the negative effects of allelochemicals on nitrogen absorption of NH+4are stronger than those of NO-3.Those negative effects tend to be smaller as seedling grows bigger.

The low-yield farmland in Huaibei Plain is classified.
Evaluation of afforestation technology with strip clearing shrubs in slope land
Bao Weikai, Qiao Yongkang
1998, 6(2): 44-47.
Abstract(1060) PDF(877)
Abstract:
Experiments show that afforestation technology with strip clearing shrubs (ATSCS) is effective to develop forest.Aside from soil and water conservation, and protection of biodiversity, this technology can mix natural trees with artificial trees in the same system. The clearing of shrub belts improved light and temperature condition in the ecosystemt,and,there-fore,stimulated the decomposition rate of organic matter and accelerated the growth of young forest. It is good technology to form a tree-shrub-grass multi-layer system.
Interplanting in citrus plantation and its benefits
Wu Jianjun, Li Quansheng, Yan Lijiao
1998, 6(2): 48-50.
Abstract(1102) PDF(972)
Abstract:
Effectiveness of interplanting rye grass (Lolium perenne)and milk vetch (Astragalus sinicus L.)in citrus plantation in red earth hilly areas is studied. The results indicate that interplanting has good effectiveness of enhancing efficiency of energy conversion, redueingloss of water and soil, improving soilfertility, yield andfruit quality. However, interplanting would retard the increase of soil temperature in spring which slows down the growth of young trees in spring and summer. To popularize this technique, cultivation and management measures must be strengthened and the relationships between utilization of the forage, conservation of water and soil, fertilizing soil and citrus prodution should be well coordinated to enhance ecological and economic benefits.
Analysis on structure succession of farmland ecosystems and its function change in Luancheng County
Hu Chunsheng, Zeng Jianghai
1998, 6(2): 51-54.
Abstract(1148) PDF(1006)
Abstract:
The structure succession of farmland ecosystems and its function change in the last 40 years in Luancheng County were anlysed. The results show that the structure succession along the main objective of yield can bring the tight and energy potential into full play,mean-while,lead the increase of stress on resources and environment, and decline the structure stability and nutrition bglance strncure. To improve the sustainability of farmland ecosystem, new ecological niche should be expanded to strengthen the multiple transformation of primary productive forces, and the structure should be adjusted to increase the overall effieiency of resoutees use.

1998, 6(2): 58-60.
Abstract(889) PDF(848)
Abstract:
Pot and field experiments were conducted in Nanpi Eeo-agricultural Experiment Station, CAS,from 1995 to 1996.The results show that in saline sol1 ireproved by alfafa, application of N can increase grain yield of wheat by 61.2%,relative leaf weight by 16.2%,grain number by 37.36%.grain weight by 10.3 in pot experiment.Under the conditions of P application, grain yield increased by 16.78%,grain weight by 8.39%,but there is no effect on the grain number.Application of N and P could increase grain yield by 74.76%.But K is almost no effect on the growth.biomass and yield of wheat.Application of N and NP could increase yield by 60% and 73.5% respectively.Application of N and P is the key to iocrease crop yield in saline soil improved by alfafa, which is also the key to get high crop productivity in this region.

Suo Dongrang
1998, 6(2): 64-67.
Abstract(972) PDF(842)
Abstract:
The result of six years application of ammonium chlorindicates that chlorion absorbed by crop is 15.88%~26.92% ,its leaching loss is 47.0%~59.4%,its residue in O~150cm soillayer is 24.7%~26.1%.As a result of crop absorption and leaching through irrigation, the remained chlodon accounted for 3.0%~6.6% in O~40cm layer,0.71%~2.4% in 0~20cm farming layer. There are no harmful effects on quality properties and growth vigour of crop, soil property.Correlation between the residue of chlorion and test period is negative.Correlation between the quantity of leaching, loss and test period is positive.Correlations between the quantity of fertilizer and the residue ratio and leaching loss are positive. Therefore, thechemicaI fertilizer which contains chloride are suited to be used in combination with no chloride fertilizer or intermittently.
