The World Grain Production and the Agro-eco-environmental Changes
JIANG Ai-liang
1993, 1(4): 6-14.
Abstract(1144) PDF(1024)
Abstract:
The world grain production was increasing rapidly during 1950 to 1984,and the average increasing rate was 2.9 percent per annum during this period;but the increasing rate, however, was remarkably reduced to 0.7 percent per annum during 1984 to 1992.The author holds that the rapid increasing rate for the former period is caused by the progress and application of science and technology to agriculture.According to the statistics it is found that the increasing rate of grain production per capita was more than 30 percent per decade during 1950 to 1980,but the rate tended downwards to negative value after middle 80's.The author considers the main causes for slowing or dropping of world grain production are the globle deterioration of agro-eco-environment and the rapid increasing of world population. Then the author discussed the possible ways for preventing the dropping of world grain production.

Abstract(1004) PDF(865)
Abstract:
By comparision of the goal, significance, basic concept, theory and technology of eco-agriculture in China with the goals, theories, contents and methods of "Agricrltural Sustainable Development","Sustainable Agriculture " and "Vertical Agriculture " put forward by scientists abroad the author holds that except the difference in title, there is no essential distinction among them, actually they are only different wording in the same field.
The Environmental Impacts of Soil Erosion
GAO Jun-sai
1993, 1(4): 19-24.
Abstract(1664) PDF(899)
Abstract:
Soil erosion is a result of environmental change that in turn has adverse effects on environment. From the mechanisms and scales the local or overall effects of soil erosion on environment were discussed. Then the negative and positive sides of this environmental impacts of soil erosion on socio-economic system were put forward.
The Development of "Tri-high"Ecological Forestry by Market Economy
BI Xu-dai, GAO Fu-cun, ZHANG Wan-jun
1993, 1(4): 25-31.
Abstract(1474) PDF(881)
Abstract:
By analysis of the major problems in afforestation and based on pratical works the theory, characters and countermeasures for developing tri-high (high yield, high quality and high benefit) forestry by guidance of market economy were put forward. It was suggested that developing tri-high ecological forestry will be one of the most important ways for forestry development in China.
Soil Drought and Anti-drought Tillage Methods in the Plateau of Hebei Province
ZHANG Li-feng, FANG Bing-xu, ZHAO Guang-sheng
1993, 1(4): 32-36.
Abstract(1764) PDF(976)
Abstract:
By analysing the reasons of soil drought in the plateau of Hebei Province,it was concluded out that the principles and technologies of soil tillage can be applied to improving the soil moisture and nutrient environments in the region.Dry and windy climate, sandy and poor soil are the main reasons of soil drought and unrationally reclaiming wasteland and land utilization had intensified the processof soil drought. The experiments conducted in this region showed that reduced tillage with strip subsoiling, furrow planting and mulching increased soil water retaining capacity and crop root growth. As a result crop yield was increased by 18.54-23.51% than conventional tillage, soil water use efficiency in the top layer of soil (2m) was increased from 4.05kg/mm. ha to 4.65kg/mm.ha.
Nitrogen and Phosphorus cycling and Nutrient Use Efficiency Improvement in Agriculture and Animal Husbandary Ecosystem
ZENG Jiang-hai, WANG Shao-ren, ZHANG Yu-ming, QIU Zhi-qiang
1993, 1(4): 37-42.
Abstract(1218) PDF(980)
Abstract:
The results from field experiments, animal feeding experiments and comprehensive agro-husbandary entities showed that the untrient recovery rate for the whole agro-husbandary ecosystem reached 49.9% for N and 37.6% for P,in farmland subecosystem nutrient use effeciency was 56.9% for N and 36.3% for P,which were 10-20% higher than in single cropping system. It was suggested that this agro-husbandary ecoagricultural model be appropriate for development of resource-saving eco-agriculture in the plain located in front of Mountain Taihang.
A Study on the Eco-agricultural Patterns of Households in Hilly Regions
CHEN Yu-hua, CAO Cou-gui, ZHANG Shi-bin, LIU Yan-jun, XIONG Fu-xi
1993, 1(4): 43-51.
Abstract(1771) PDF(893)
Abstract:
In this paper the structure, function, development trend and economical benefit of optimal circulation ecomodels for different types of households have been analysed yn hilly regions of Ezhong with Yanggang village as an example. The results suggest that the establishment and implementation of the household ecomodels be one of the most important aspects for village ecoagricultural construction.
The Radiant Agro-ecological Engineering and Its Function--A Case Study From Xinghuo Husbandary Farm
Zhang Bin, Zhang Xi-gu
1993, 1(4): 52-58.
Abstract(750) PDF(641)
Abstract:
In this paper the basic concept of radiant agro-ecoengineering is presented. With Xinghuo Husbandary Farm as an example, the radiant functions of the farm on the Production systems of the households around it are studied. Then the mechanism of the radiant action is probed into.
A Study on Systematic Development of Kerrchin Desert--A Case study From Naiman Banner
NAI Min-fu, HE Man-xi
1993, 1(4): 59-64.
Abstract(733) PDF(704)
Abstract:
Based on the principles of eco-economics and systems engineering a study on comprehensive development of the Kerrchin desert with Naiman Banner as an example has been conducted,In this study two aspects are covered. One is from macroscopic view,an integral tactical research is carried out by the principle of coordinated development of eco-environment and social economic. The other is from microscopic view, optimal models for different types of regions and different administrative levels are established,In a further step six large eco-engineering and six large expliotation projects are implemented, with which remarkable social, economical and ecological benefits are achieved.

MA Yong-qing, HAN Qing-hua
1993, 1(4): 65-69.
Abstract(1687) PDF(1089)
Abstract:
In this paper pot experiment was conducted on the allelopathic effect of wheat straw water extract and wheat straw mulching on corn seed germination and early growth and development among different corn varieties. The results show that there is significat variation among different corn varieties in enduring allelopathic effect of wheat straw mulching. When the most endurable corn varieties are selected for growing under wheat straw mulching condition, the negative allelopathic effect on corn growth and development could be avoided.

1993, 1(4): 70-73.
Abstract(1232) PDF(923)
Abstract:
In this paper the back-propagation model which is one of the typical artificial neural network models was used to establish the model for forecasting the epidemic trend of the cotton ball rot based on the collected date from sheyang county during the period of 1980 to 1987.Then by using the model the returning forecasting the trends in 1980 to 1987 and the forecasting the trends in 1988 to 1991 were carried out.The results showed that the model can well predict the trend.

1993, 1(4): 74-77.
Abstract(1059) PDF(840)
Abstract:
Gray incidence coefficients was used in this paper to analyse the ecological environment for Chinese Chestnut in Hebei Province. From the analysis results the total area was divided into four kinds of eco-environment for this plant. This result is nearly the same with the result from fuzzy cluster analysis, but it is comparative scientific, simple and easier.
